Using an express courier is a great option to fund or withdraw from your 5Dimes account!
How to deposit funds to your 5Dimes account using via Money Orders
First use Live Help, e-mail or call us for express courier deposit information. 5Dimes accepts money orders from a number of popular merchants. The minimum amount accepted is $100. The minimum amount that must be deposited to have the courier fees covered is $1000. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED, currently only Money Orders are taken as a funding method.
Remember that we will need your air bill tracking number to process your deposit. You must use an international air bill. Deposits are processed immediately upon receipt.
How to withdraw funds from your 5Dimes account by Checks or Money Orders
Login to the 5Dimes system, go to the Cashier page and select "All Other Methods" from the drop down menu. Once there, click on the 3rd green icon with the dollar and arrow sign and will take you to the Payouts section. Once there, click on the Check icon and fill in the information required in the following page.
A certified check will be sent the same day if it has been requested before 1:00 PM ET Monday through Thursday.This payment option is available to US and Canadian customers that have received at least 1 payment from 5Dimes through another method. The minimum withdrawal amount that can be sent via certified check is $1000 and maximum $3000. You can request a maximum of one check every 7 days. Please check with Customer Support for the availability of this method in your area.
For first time payouts, US customers may request a check in the amount of $1000 up to $2450. Please note, we are unable to send first time check payouts to the states of Hawaii, Alaska, Washington State and Maryland.
US customers receive checks sent using express delivery in 5-7 days after the date the redemption is processed. In order to have a smooth cashing process, deposit your check through bank machine tellers as soon as it is received. Internal policies of the bank account in which checks are deposited could cause delays in the clearing process. 5Dimes Group will not be held responsible for cashing delays caused by your bank.
Money Order payouts are available exclusively to customers who use only Money Orders as a deposit method. If you exclusively use Money Orders to deposit into your 5Dimes account, you can now request a Money Order payout for up to $9500. There is a flat $80 fee for Money Order payouts.
IMPORTANT: Check payouts sent by express courier are issued to the address registered on file ONLY. Errors in addresses are the customer's responsibility and the 5Dimes Group will not be held responsible for delays or missing packages due to incorrect or incomplete address information. Please make sure to confirm the accuracy of the account's address with our Customer Service Staff BEFORE a payout is processed, this will help ensure the receipt of FedEx packages sent to you.
Fees associated with FedEx
Deposits via courier express are always free of charge and are processed immediately upon receipt.
Withdrawal: Checks sent via FedEx have an escalated fee:
$40 for $1000
$60 for $1001 up to $2000
$80 for $2001 up to $3000
Money Order payouts have an $80 flat fee. If your account has been funded via Money Orders only and no payments have been processed during the past 30 days, you may apply to have your payout fee completely waived on Mondays during the free payout period if eligible.
Be aware that FedEx packages take 5-7 days to arrive after the date the redemption is processed. Early inquires opened with the processor incur in a $10 fee.
Returned packages due to delivery impossibilities caused by incorrect or incomplete address information or inability to locate the recipient will incur in a $50 fee and will permanently ban your account from this payout method.
Stop payments cannot be performed by the merchant. If forced to request a stop payment, the account will be charged a $250 fee and will permanently ban your account from processing check payouts.
Remember, checks and money order redemption requests processed on Mondays between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM ET may qualify to be sent completely free of charge ($60 and $80 fee will be completely waived as well) if no payouts have been processed in your account during the past 30 days. If you have received a withdrawal from 5Dimes in the past 30 days you are NOT eligible for a free withdrawal. You are allowed ONE free withdrawal every 30 days only. If you wish to wait 30 days and until a Monday to have your redemption processed for free, you must contact Customer Service at the time of your request via Live Help. You may also call 1-800-430-5896. Any payout request that does not qualify to be sent for free will be processed having the corresponding fees applied without exceptions.
